How do I log in?
- Enter User Name, Password and Company Name and click Login.
What do I do if I forget my password?
- Click “Forgot Password” and enter your User Name and Company Name. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Enter your new password and login.
Can I record videos without an internet connection?
- Yes, when you open the mobile app you can click the record button on the top right side of the banner without being logged into the application. When you record a session offline it will be saved locally until you are able to login with an internet connection. After the upload is completed the local version will be deleted from the device, freeing up space for future videos.
Where are recorded sessions stored?
- All sessions are saved in the VENNDVantage™ cloud. Offline videos are stored locally on the mobile device until they are uploaded to the cloud at which time they will be deleted from the mobile device.
Can I take pictures out of the video?
- Yes, while recording a session you can click the snapshot button to capture an image of that part of the video. All snapshots will be uploaded to the cloud with the session. Additional snapshots can be captured while viewing the video in the Web UI or on the mobile application.
Do I need an internet connection to review recorded sessions?
- Yes, you must be logged in with an internet connection (Wifi or cell internet) to access the platform via the mobile application or with the Web UI.
Do I need to install anything on my laptop or computer?
- No, you can access the VENNDVantage™ platform using your Web Browser.
What web browsers can I use?
- The VENNDVantage™ platform will work on the Chrome and Firefox browsers.
The keyboard on the mobile application does not go away after typing a session name
- Click Next or Done until the keyboard goes away. In an instance where the keyboard does not go away, you can change the orientation of the device from landscape to portrait.
How should I hold the mobile device when recording a session?
- All sessions (Offline and P2P) should be recorded with the mobile device in the landscape orientation.
Are recordings geo coded?
- Yes, when the location services for the device are turned on. If the device location is turned off the location details will not be saved as part of the session. When using the Web UI the geo location is determined based on the IP Address.
Can others see where I am when using the VENNDVantage™ platform?
- Yes, other users within your company can see the location of all of the other users and their current status by viewing the map.
How can I find a folder?
- Within the portal you can review folders created by you and other users within the company. To search for a specific folder, type the information that was part of the folder name.
Can I change my status to unavailable?
- Yes, when you are logged in and can select the drop down beside your name and select the appropriate status. This will change the color of the pin seen by other users while still keeping you online.
What happens to messages sent to users who are offline?
- When a user who is not logged into the application is sent a message, they will receive a notification on their mobile device of a new message. When the user logs in the will be able to review the message.
What is the average size of a recorded session?
